About Indian Classical Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the treatment without medicines, was practiced for several centuries in China and later spread to neighboring countries. In Chinese, Acupuncture is actually called ZHEN-JIU, Which means Right Way of Boosting Energy. Practitioners of Chinese Acupuncture were seen sparsely in India in the 1980’s. it was predominantly used in a temporary relief of pain and used as a supportive treatment without treating treatment systems. Traditional acupuncture diagnoses and simplest way of treatment methods have disappeared. Then Acupuncture was practiced with 10 to 20 needles and electric stimulators. This confused way of practice was followed all over India. Even now in many countries this type of treatment method is known as Chinese Acupuncture. In China itself, very few practitioners follow the traditional method of acupuncture.

In the terms of understanding nature, Indian philosophy is unique in the world. With these unique and important philosophies, Chinese Acupuncture has been Reborn as Indian Classical Acupuncture to understand acupuncture on the basis of Indian philosophy. Though Indian Classical Acupuncture is practiced in few countries, acupuncture with a complete understanding of Indian philosophy is practiced only in India. Since the arrival of Faisal Rehman, the father of Indian Classical Acupuncture, for the past 30 years Indian Acupuncture has gained acceptance all over the world.
